GUAiNOS Beer Marmalade is made from craft lager. It leaves a smooth malty flavour and a light toasted taste in the mouth. Citrus aroma, with floral and herbal notes from the hops. Its golden amber colour intensifies and acquires orange tones. Moderately bitter, it leaves no harshness.
The ingredients we use in the manufacture of this jam are lager beer, sugar, and to thicken it we add pectin, a natural fibre found in the cell walls of plants, especially concentrated in the skin of fruits, which provides a smooth and thick texture. Ideal to accompany prepared dishes or cooking.
Beer contains nutrients that allows its inclusion into a healthy diet, such as the Mediterranean diet, recognized worldwide. It also strengthens bones, protects against Alzheimer’s disease, benefits heart health, kidney function, hypertension, provides fiber, contains B vitamins, increases good cholesterol, improves insomnia and prevents aging.
Although this jam is made with beer, it does not contain alcohol due to the evaporation of alcohol during the cooking process, which allows pregnant women, children and the elderly to eat it. If you are vegetarian or vegan, you can eat it with confidence because it contains no ingredients from the animal kingdom.
